About the Job
Daybreak, a not-for-profit organization providing street outreach services, shelter, housing, employment opportunities and clinical services for homeless youth and young adults through the age of 24, seeks a full-time Outreach Case Aide with dynamic energy and demonstrated experience empowering youth to achieve their goals and well-being.
The Street Outreach Case Aide position duties include, but are not limited to, supporting case managers with their caseload; completing notes in a timely manner and per productivity standards; they may accompany clients to appointments, food pantries and help them move into apartments, as well as covering the drop in center and maintaining the Street Outreach pantry. This Street Outreach Case Aide will also canvass 1-2 times per month with other agencies, continue to build rapport with youth and make new connections within the community.
Applicants are required to have a Bachelor Degreein a Human Services related field, or AA and 5 years’ experienceworking with at-risk population.
Daybreak does not utilize seclusion or restraint and depends upon the staff to utilize conflict management and crisis prevention interventions.
