Barnhart Reese Construction, Inc. is a construction organization headquartered in San Diego County. We specialize in general contracting, design-build and construction management of military, public works, healthcare and commercial facilities.
The primary function of the position will be to provide overall management direction of a new construction project
Typical duties include:
Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities.
Monitor/Control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.
Manage financial aspect of contracts
Assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives
Education and experience preferred:
4-year college degree (engineering, construction management, or related degree preferable) or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience. 10+ years of project management experience related to similar facility construction.
