Amyx is seeking to hire a Data Architect/Modeler to support our contract with the Program Executive Office - Transcom (PEO-T) in O'Fallon IL at Scott Air Force Base.
Team Amyx is an expert in architecting and designing systems using the DODAF and all its associated technical notation standards such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and Integration Definition (IDEF) derivatives. We regularly use COTS tools such as ARIS and VISO on programs to render DODAF-compliant architectures and ensure compliance with the Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA).
Data modelers are enthusiastic learners dedicated to customer service and quality control. They also have excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
Able to understand and convert business needs/rules into business process models supporting long-term solutions using the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) modeling standards and best practices.
Able to recreate models using Architecture of Integrated Information Systems (ARIS) Business Modeler for delivery to the development contractor
Ensure the Business Requirements Team follows BPMN standards and adheres to project schedules
Able to conduct analysis and provide recommendations on process models and other functional design documents to ensure current and future capabilities are captured documented and aligned with applicable business rules
Able to conduct analysis and advise the PEO-T of business process modeling commercial best practices
Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:
The Data Architect/Modeler’s primary job responsibilities will include:
Provide functional support coordination and execution of requirements within the PEO-T. The Data Architect will provide frequent communication and collaboration with multiple personnel and include activities such as analysis validation integration and public speaking. The Government will coordinate to develop and maintain process and procedure continuity documentation as well as complete related reviews and/or analysis as required by the PEO-T or program of record.
- Build useful process models for communicating with users and technicians
- Educate consumers of models how to understand the model
- Work closely with SMEs to understand the process flow
- Recognize and present solutions when the AsIs flow is not optimal
- Interpret Software Change Requests for actionable events
- Define the events so a user can verify the accuracy and completeness of the problem statement
- Describe SCRs to enable a Developer to produce solutions to business problems
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Competent user in DODAF
- Bachelor Degree
- Master Degree (preferred)
- Active Secret Clearance
