Manager Finance, Accounting & Government Contract Admin.

Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Experience - At least 7 years in bookkeeping, accounting and management in a small business government contracting environment (or equivalent)
Education –B.A. or B.S. degree (MBA helpful not required).
JENTEK Sensors (jenteksensors.com) designs, manufactures, and sells non-destructive testing (NDT) products for the aerospace and defense, industrial, and oil and gas sectors. Applications range from aircraft engine inspection, to manufacturing process quality assessment, to pipeline inspection. JENTEK core competencies are in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics design and production, software development, and delivering turn-key solutions. JENTEK is ISO 9001 certified and is now growing a sales and customer relation management function. We are relocating from Waltham to a new facility in Marlborough, MA this fall.
Purpose of the Position
- A/P, A/R, General Ledger, Financial Statements
- Cash Flow Management
- Government Overhead Rates/Cost Center Management
- DCAA and Independent Audit Liason
- Bank Relationship support
- Government/Commercial Contract Negotiation support
- Benefit Administration
- Office Management
- Financial reporting to Executive Team
- Support for financial projections
- Budgeting and planning support
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required for successful teaming with Senior Management, and external business relationships. Attention to detail, accuracy, timeliness, and multi-tasking skills are necessary attributes. Experience with Government rate structures and DCAA audits is a plus. The ideal candidate must be proficient with accounting software packages, preferably Peachtree, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint software.
