Our client company is the industry’s foremost domestic manufacturer of high-power radio frequency amplifiers used in satellite communications and radar applications. In addition to offering a full range of microwave- and millimeter-wave amplifiers to space and defense customers, we also develop and manufacture state-of-the-art electric thrusters for satellite station keeping and interplanetary spacecraft propulsion.
We are in need of a person to become the Manufacturing supervisor of our product line.
In this position you will be responsible for the high-quality processing and assembly of precision Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) vacuum electronic components and assembly for commercial and government satellite applications; this requires meeting extremely high manufacturing standards with challenging lead times and cost considerations. You'll be responsible for the supervision and training of hourly employees in three cross-functional areas: Chemical Cleaning, High Temperature Furnace Brazing, and Vacuum Assembly. You will also support development and implementation of Lean process improvement plans, and provide accurate production status updates to Operations Management, Program Management, Engineering, and downstream production areas.
You will need at least five (5) years of experience with the processing and manufacturing of vacuum microwave RF devices, preferably TWT’s or other relevant experience.
