Our Client is seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager in Glenn Riddle, PA.

Earn $90,000 to $120,000 per year at this full-time permanent position.  Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. 

Job Summary:

The Manager of Sales and Marketing will report to the President.  He/she will develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy and provide leadership for all functional activities within the Sales and Marketing Department. 
   
Job Description:
  • Successfully identify / manage / advocate the needs of customers in order to meet the objectives of the overall business plan and strategies.  This effort will produce an efficient, cost effective process that meets the requirements of ISO9001 AS9100 and ITAR
  • Coordinate the specific objectives of the Sales and Marketing Plan with all functional departments
  • Be a role model for the culture of working as one team to exceed the expectations of both our internal and external customers 
  • Analyze sales and marketing activity against goals and report monthly as to the progress being made and areas that require more focus
  • Monthly sales forecasts and yearly sales projections will be created and deployed
  • Evaluate the market potential and profitability of current products and develop strategies to achieve the greatest number of sales of those products 
  • Identify new markets to serve and create a business plan for penetration of these profit streams; qualify new market opportunities through market analysis
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Manage the website for content and functionality either directly or on an outsourced basis as well as managing all social media such as Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  • Establish performance goals for all sales department employees and monitor performance on a continual basis
  • Develop pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high profile customers, business segments and channel partners
  • Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows and seminars
  • Represents Company at trade association meetings to promote products and services
  • Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in a business related major preferred.  MBA a plus
  • 5 to 7 years of Sales and Marketing experience with 4 years in a senior management role
  • Domestic travel required; international travel possible to network and meet with customers, suppliers and potential industry partners. Support shows and seminars as required. Expected travel time will approximately be 30%
  • Must be able to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Must have experience with supporting US Military procurement practices and familiarity with FAR and ITAR requirements
  • Must have experience with supporting the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100
  • Develop and deploy global sales and marketing strategies a plus
  • Must have strong leadership skills in strategic planning and execution  
  • Proven leadership abilities to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Must have experience in planning advertising campaigns, public relations efforts and internet marketing
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Able to lead and motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frame and simultaneously manage several projects
  • Able to create departmental budgets and demonstrate fiscal responsibility when spending Company funds
  • Must be willing to work in a “roll up your sleeves” environment to support business objectives
  • Good negotiation skills and an excellent understanding of managing alliances / partnerships essential
