The role of the Director of Sales – Retail is to manage and supervise the overall sales and marketing aspects of selected National Accounts in the United States for the selected product lines as listed below and to the exclusion of any other lines, while constantly looking for ways to improve the overall profitability of those accounts, and being measured upon sales results versus the established budget. The objective of this role is to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Responsible for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve the company’s financial targets in close collaboration with other all departments including the executive teams. Develop and gain approval for annual operating plan, assuring that plan aligns with plan expectations.

Main tasks & Responsabilities

  • Partners with customers to understand their business needs, objectives and concerns and working with internal teams to address and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Collaborates with CM team to ensure the successful introduction/launch of new products.
  • Constant harmonizing with all other departments of Spectra Premium for support with relation to sales and operations depending on the impact with relation to that particular department.
  • Ensures resolution of problems which arise between all major retail accounts and our organization concerning business processes, services, quality, and related sales matters in the best interests of our major customers with minimum cost to our organization.
  • Work with Category Management team on line reviews and stock assortment plan o grams for the selected product lines.


  • 5+ years of Management experience.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, a must.
  • Must have category management understanding.
  • Must have great work ethic.
  • Must be able to effectively conduct meetings and make presentations to major accounts.
  • Must be able to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently.
