We want your internship experience with Vacasa to be beneficial, educational, and FUN! We will support you in attaining school credit for your time with us. Our goal is to share with you an overall operational understanding of our property management business, with an emphasis on Guest Services and Housekeeping. Additionally, depending on your placement with us, you may also get exposure to many other unique aspects of the industry.
Do I have what it takes?
We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, customer service driven, college students, majoring in hospitality or a related field, to join us for an exciting and educational summer internship! We are looking for students who are currently enrolled in a college or university hospitality program (related programs will also be considered). A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and previous customer service experience is preferred. Additionally, you MUST be able to attain school credit for your time with us.
Is this a paid internship?
YES. We pay $15.00/hr! This is a paid internship opportunity. Expect to work at least 40 hours a week. The ability to work a flexible schedule is required. In the hospitality industry evening, weekend and holiday work is required. Any school coursework is expected to be completed on your own time. Paychecks are issued bi-weekly, however, your first paycheck may take three weeks to be issued, so you should plan your finances accordingly.
Will Vacasa help to secure housing?
YES. For non-local interns, we understand that affordable housing is often difficult or impossible to obtain if you were to try to secure it yourself. We offer subsidized, shared (dorm like), furnished accommodations. Each student will pay per month for housing, which will be automatically deducted from your paycheck.
Will I need to provide my own transportation?
YES. All housing options will be offsite and transportation is NOT provided us and will be the responsibility of the student. However, Steamboat Springs does offer free public transportation.

- Earliest end date is August 14th
- Students are required to work /- 40 hrs/wk and must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include: nights, weekends, holidays, overtime and on-call. Thus, no time off will be allowed for trips/travel, weddings, family reunions, etc. You must have no schedule restrictions during your time with us. You will work hard, but you will also get time off, for play!
