• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including quality, safety and others • Prepare, set-up and assemble components needed for production • Operate equipment for the assembly and processing required to produce finished products • Complete assignments in a timely fashion, staying on task, minimize interruptions of work. • Package and/or prepare all products per procedures • Maintain high standards for quality and workmanship of the products • Participate in periodic cleaning activities • Assist team members. • Process paperwork accurately and neatly. • Maintain a clean, neat and organized work space. • Report to work on time, including returning from breaks and lunch periods. • Be helpful and encouraging. • Any other duties assigned. Work Schedule Must be able to work in a three shift environment (A, B, C), including weekends based on business needs. No exceptions.
Here are some additional detailed responsibilities for this opening. Please also remember that there is a $.75 shift differential as this is straight B shift! 1) Weekly Cleaning 2) Clean and sanitized vessels 3) Pool plasma for PV and Calibrator formulations (Plasma needs to be removed from the containers and collected to be used in the PV and Calibrator formulations) 4) Set up and Break down (clean) filtration equipment 5) Clean small parts. 6) Process eggs. (Eggs are used in our formulation process so the individual will be cracking the eggs and then separating the whites from the yokes.) 7) Inventory management & re-ordering. 8) Wrapping filters, pots, & tygon tubing. 9) Re-stocking shelves & drawers (polys, weigh boats, samp tubes, pipettes, gloves, face masks, hair nets, paper toweling, alcohol wipes, liquid alcohol in spray bottles, release cards, in-process cards, vessel clean cards, bar code labels, kimwipes, pH buffers, hand soap, hand lotion, daily-use SOP's & BTR's, etc.) 10) Maintaining formulation Bio Barrels. (Disposing of bio-hazardous materials used in the formulation process.)
• Desire and demonstrated ability to produce quality products 100% of the time. • Attention to detail and tasks being performed in order to identify potential changes and/or problems with the processes and products. • Good hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity. • Able to follow verbal and written instructions and consistently demonstrate compliance. • Asks questions when unclear of direction or instructions. • Able to communicate with team members in a positive manner. • Able to work independently as well as alongside team members. • Able to visually inspect products and components for defects. • Basic computer literacy. Experience/Education: • Experience in a manufacturing environment not necessary, but preferred • High School Diploma or GED required. Physical Work Conditions Demands • Standing for long periods of time • Wearing personal protective equipment for long periods of time, including the use of a face mask while in the cleanroom environment • Some lifting, not to exceed 50 lbs.
