The Planning Analyst will support the design, development and institutionalization of a best practice supply planning process with key external business partners. Collaborates with Demand Planning team to receive demand plans; and conducts a formal process with the external partners to rationalize supply and demand, with consideration of both capacity and inventory. S/he will provide support to the External Operations team, helping to ensure accurate and timely updates to planning tools and reports, and to ensure the effective execution of the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process.
Monitor and report on performance metrics, including service, inventory and adherence-to-plan
Provide Management with reports and data analysis, as needed
Accountable for purchase order management and supporting intercompany distribution of product world wide
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) launches
Provide support for monthly S&OP process, including dashboards and tools
Ensure timely updating and availability of MPS planning tools and data
Train users and partners on processes and systems
Provide support with the routine back order management process
Vulnerability report ownership & updates.
Ensure planning master data (safety stock, lead times, etc.) in the ERP system are accurate and up to date.
Build effective relationships and partnerships with key suppliers
Implement S&OP policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures
Identify gaps and areas to align processes and improve supply chain effectiveness and performance
Monitor the process on a continuous basis to measure process adherence
