As our Account Representative in the North East US region, with a focus on the greater Pittsburgh area you will be on the road in your company owned truck, as you drive product sales and expand Ulterra’s market share through visiting and selling to established clients sites in your assigned district. As our Account Representative supporting the North East US area, you will grow and increase market-share and promote the business relationship between Ulterra and its clients. Your role will involve traveling extensively – not a lot of overnight travel -and at times you will be on call 24/7. We will provide all the support you need including the expertise of an application engineer that will travel with you to client sites and provide industry and mechanical engineering expertise. With your drive and our industry expertise you will be able to offer our clients flexibility and the ability to respond to their specific applications with customized solutions. The successful candidate will call on office and field locations on a regular basis to promote sales of company products as well as develop and build relationships with the appropriate procurement personnel. The customer base that the candidate will be responsible for are the accounts where the buying decisions are made in the Northeast United States. Candidate should also possess a high level of technical knowledge to service the customer in a professional manner such as well programs, hydraulic programs, cost analysis, BHA recommendations and other such functions.
The Account Representative position will require that districts are treated as internal customers with a required service level equal to any external customer. He/She will also be asked to prepare sales reports, assist in forecasting and assist in accounts receivable collections when necessary.
The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to work independently and remotely. The position requires building and sustaining relationships with the district personnel, including the District and Area Managers which will require traveling to the districts on a regular basis. This is crucial in continuing to meet and surpass 2018 district goals and objectives.
The job will provide an excellent challenge to develop new customer relationships and grow sales in the applicable market.
Candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience as a Field Representative or as an Account Representative (current or past).
