Job Description
Staff level position responsible for assisting the internal operation of the Physician Recruiting Department.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Handle incoming department phone calls, emails, and faxes
- Provider file updates such as address changes
- Updating provider contracts using Word templates
- Requesting and filing provider paperwork
- Fixing incorrect information in provider database and general upkeep
- Troubleshooting and solving computer errors caused by outdated or incorrect provider data
- Field provider inquiries and route to recruiters as necessary
- Backup provider credentialing support
- Other tasks as delegated by the Physician Recruiting Manager and Physician Credentialer
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Very computer savvy with moderate-to-high experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to stay focused and handle using a computer for an 8 hour workday
- One year of administrative and/or customer service office experience preferred
- Additional experience that is not required but would be a plus:
- CRM or another computer database
- Data entry experience
- Healthcare credentialing and/or licensing
- Any experience in the healthcare industry or working with doctors
