Job Purpose: At Gainsco, our competitive culture, great rates, and creative marketing campaigns have customers contacting us – every day – for their insurance needs. The Onboarding Specialist is a challenging and rewarding role which presents the opportunity to engage with Gainsco customers on a daily basis. The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for owning communication between the Gainsco Agency and our customers.
Essential Job Results:
% of Time - Results Expected and Duties Performed
50% - Build rapport with each customer and welcomes them to the agency. Foster relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty. Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to inquiries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
40% - Completes tracking of all interactions with customers in a computerized database. Onboard customers quickly and successfully by making sure all documents are signed, collected, and are accurate.
10% - Innovate on current processes and proactively seek ways to improve the client experience. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required behaviors for all positions:

- Established tenure preferred
Education: High School diploma, Degree preferred but not required. Active Personal Lines license preferred, but not required.
Experience: 1-2 years of customer service call center experience. Experience in sales or service within an insurance agency is a plus.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization, including Sr. Management; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment; excellent organizational and time management skills; excellent presentation skills and prior experience in making presentations to executive management.
Other: Bilingual (English/Spanish) beneficial
Office Equipment and Software: Computer, e-sign Live, MS windows suite, any CRM software, Adobe.
Decision Making: Develops options by which work can be accomplished; sets priorities and standards of performance
Interpersonal Communication: Interacts with customers over the phone
