The National Association of Schools of Music, a not-for-profit specialized accrediting association in Reston, Virginia seeks an individual to assist with office operations in support of its accreditation activities. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills; have a working and functional knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, e-commerce, financial reporting; have managed the maintenance and repair of office equipment; and have developed and maintained organized office systems including receiving, sorting, filing, and archiving of materials. Additional qualifications include oral and written communication expertise; demonstrated ability to understand and work with and in complex systems; proven ability to handle varied and multiple tasks simultaneously; meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; exceptional organizational skills; ability to set and keep deadlines; track record of dedicated service; cordial and welcoming demeanor; patient and instructional manner; ability to work independently and as a team member; desire and ability to work in a studious, professional atmosphere; ability to use Mac computer hardware and software including Word, Excel, FileMaker, Keynote/PowerPoint proficiently and functionally.
