Manages, develops and/or maintains one or a combination of general accounting systems. Responsible for the supervision of accounting professionals and leads most day to day operations of the group. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data. Participates in annual audits and special projects. May work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.
Manage retained shared services staff (GL, AR and AP), participate in recurring outsourced shared services governance meetings
Prepare judgmental accruals and balance sheet reconciliations such as Allowance for Doubtful Accounts, Sales Return Reserve and ASC606 adjustment
Prepare SOX404 controls for revenue and other higher risk area monitoring controls
Prepare monthly reporting for Corporate Controller including global AR review and peer benchmarking
Support annual audits and quarterly reviews done by internal and external auditors.
Document procedures and develop and implement process improvements.
Manage administration of company purchasing and travel card programs.
Prepare employee annual performance reviews and development plans.
Lead or assist with special projects as required.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles

BS in Accounting, CPA preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in accounting
Strong Excel skills required
Working knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP preferred
