Due to recent expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to provide leadership in a specialty part of the practice and be accountable for quality client service, winning new work, adding value through insight and developing high performing teams.
As Audit Partner, you will supervise, direct and review the planning, field work and "wrap-up" stages of audit engagements through the delegation of tasks. You’ll be charged with marketing, networking and business development within an area of expertise, advise clients, resolve complex accounting issues, apply GAAP and GAAS consistently within complex situations, and document, validate, test and assess various financial reporting control systems.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field, CPA certification and 5+ years of recent public accounting audit experience, with a government emphasis. Strong communication, organizational, research, analytical, problem solving, client service and PC skills including MS Office proficiency with the ability to professionally lead audit engagements, interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm, work independently within a team environment and with a customer service focus and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are a must. Availability for limited overnight travel is required.
