DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Serves as an Aviation System Engineer with the U.S. Army Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) in support of technical teams providing engineering analysis, assessment and impact as they relate to The Netherlands AH-64 (Apache) aircraft and weapon systems airworthiness program. Selected applicant will coordinate all aspects of Netherlands Apache airworthiness program. Utilizes engineering and airworthiness expertise to adjudicate Dutch Apache designs and modifications against US and Dutch airworthiness requirements. Coordinate functional review of airworthiness and engineering tasks. Formulate concise, technically rigorous responses to airworthiness and engineering tasks. Expect to provide briefings at the O-6 level.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5 years engineering experience
Must have an active (Secret) clearance.
Ability to travel outside the US.
Must be able to work independently
Bachelors degree in Engineering with 5 years Systems Engineering experience
Experience in attaining aircraft airworthiness certification (DoD or FAA)
Experince with rotorcraft (pilot, engineer, maintainer)
Up to 15% to include OCONUS travel in support of AED technical assistance for the Netherland Apache airworthiness process.
