The successful HR Representative will be based in Lebanon, IN, with responsibility to support employees in our Parts & Service distribution center. The role requires significant customer service skills, influence at a manager and supervisor level, and the ability to address a variety of HR issues constructively by providing independent, objective, and confident advice and solutions.
Coordinate and administers various aspects of the organization's compensation and benefit, recruitment, training, organizational development, and employee relations programs
Counsel employees and managers on HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees
Assist line management in implementing established human resources practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs
Partner with line managers to identify human resources issues or problems and provides support in finding solutions
Maintain familiarity and compliance with all local, state, federal employment and EEO laws to ensure effective and timely employment actions and decisions
Manage the staffing process to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner with high quality candidates, this includes discussing staffing needs with line managers, screening applicants and participating in the interview process
Ensure timely and clear communication within the business unit on HR policies, practices and initiatives
Manage necessary data input and reporting using applicable HR systems
Encourage and build positive employee relations
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, OR a relevant discipline and 3 years' experience in an HR generalist role with demonstrated HR skills and understanding of key HR practices
