Business Development Manager
Local manufacturer of heavy equipment seeks a Business Development Manager to:
Prospect for potential new clients through cold calling, networking, advertising and other means of generating interest.
Identify the decision makers within the potential client organization.
Research and build relationships with potential clients.
Identify opportunities that will lead to increased sales.
Using knowledge of the market, identify and develop the company’s unique position within the market by having a thorough understanding of the company’s product and capabilities.
Work with marketing and sales to develop approaches and pitches that will speak to client’s needs and concerns
Ensure that data is accurately managed in the company’s sales system.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven sales track record.
Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
