Central Supply Lead Technician - One (1) Full-Time Position w/Rotating Weekends Available
This is a lead worker position within Central Services. Under general supervision, performs inventory, maintenance and restocking for patient care areas to ensure adequate supplies are available for patient use. Restocks and maintains storage within Central Services; and performs other duties as assigned. As part of the CS team, this position participates in team activities and assignments; works together with other team members to accomplish organizational and departmental goals and objectives; and assists any member of the department’s team when the need arises or is observed.
This is a lead worker position that provides direction to other Central Services Technicians. As a lead worker, this position makes work assignments on a daily basis and reports problems, including employee performance problems, to the area supervisor. In addition, must possess the ability to write legibly and communicate effectively and professionally with others, be assertive and consistent in following policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure, collaborate with others.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Two (2) years of directly related experience
- One (1) year recent experience in an acute care hospital
