ANDRUS, a leader in the field of treatment and services for children, families and the community and the home of the Sanctuary Institute, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for its campus clinical programs.
ANDUS is looking The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the Residential Clinical Services Department and assists in the direction of Comprehensive Treatment Planning. The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to the Clinical Social Workers within the department. The Clinical Supervisor assumes administrative duties within the department in the absence of the Director of Clinical Services. This employee will perform their job responsibilities in a safe and responsible manner, and will interact professionally and effectively with clients and co-workers of diverse backgrounds.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for helping to model and maintain the core values of a therapeutic milieu throughout the agency. This employee’s responsibilities include helping the clinical staff to understand their role as the coordinator of the treatment team, as this pertains to the communication of the children’s histories, and the monitoring of inter-disciplinary collaboration, and maintaining compliance with the concepts of Sanctuary.
The Clinical Supervisor directly assists the Clinical Director in the oversight of the department, and is responsible for helping to identify needs within the department and the agency as a whole. This employee will help to identify strengths and weaknesses within the department, will help to address development needs, and will help to monitor and improve morale. The Clinical Supervisor will also help to define treatment in the agency, and to ensure that treatment needs are being carried out effectively both within the department, and between departments.
This position holds a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday.
The qualified candidate will possess:
- New York State LCSW-R.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Experience working with children in a mental health setting.
- Physical Requirements: Reach, Walk, Climb Stairs, Bend, and Lift.
- Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
