Community Supports Manager
Schedule is to be flexible and based on meeting the needs of the organization. Usual hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Must be willing to travel regionally. The Director may approve and/or mandate a change in hours based on program and person served needs. All
persons in this position are required to work weekends and holidays if needed. Must be available on weekends, evenings and holidays for situations requiring Manager intervention/direction, input and monitoring.
Responsible for the management of non-residential services and staff, and physical plant. To manage everyday functions of services, and insuring compliance to all federal and state regulations. Focus efforts on supporting and developing Community Supports Supervisors in their roles.
a. Bachelor of Science degree in a field related to human services and one year of full-time experience
b. Associates Degree or Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post-secondary institution and 2 years (4,160 hours) of full time experience.
c. Four years (8,320 hours) of experience under the supervision of a staff person who meets the previous listed qualifications.
AND three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.
