Supports Butler Health System in matters related to staff and physician compensation including, but not limited to, job classification, market pricing, pay studies, Wage & Hour regulation interpretation, and compensation education and training. Consults with management on job design and/or career ladders. Assumes lead responsibility for and assists with compensation projects and initiatives. Provides guidance and assistance to other members of the human resources team.
Minimum: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics or another related field
Preferred: Master in Business Administration
Preferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional Human Resources Certification (i.e. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
Minimum: Three years professional level experience in human resources, finance or related field that includes two years progressive compensation experience in a healthcare environment.
Preferred: Five years compensation experience including knowledge of various physician compensation pay practices.
Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel or Access experience
