St. Anne Credit Union, an $16M Credit Union is seeking a new Manager/CEO. While a small credit union with five employees and one location, St. Anne Credit Union has a loyal member base of 3,100. The Credit Union is in its 107th year of operation and is the oldest credit union in Southeast Massachusetts!
The CEO needs to be strategic and tactical, bringing proven expertise in finance, lending, compliance, marketing, and member relations. He/she will report to the Board of Directors in an on-going partnership to meet the goals of a new and dynamic strategic plan. This is very much a hands-on position.
Since the CEO will also function as the CFO, he/she must have a solid accounting/financial background to include completing 5300s, GLs, financial reports, working with auditors and regulators, and ensuring the safety and soundness of the institution as it looks to grow.
Other experiences should include knowledge of lending products, marketing, operational and financial oversight, and compliance in a highly regulated environment. This position is a Jack/Jill of all trades for an individual who wants to run and grow a successful, happy, small credit union. This is an exciting time for the Credit Union as it moves forward on several significant initiatives which need a great leader to champion.
Requirements for the position include: a degree in Business or Accounting, a minimum of 8 years of related financial institution experience with at least 3 years of experience in a senior management role, and preferably experience in a credit union.
