Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
Creating and maintaining engineering documentation
Ensuring software standards are met
7 years of software engineering experience
5+ years' direct experience with Java developer
1+ years' experience with JEE development
Experience working on Data-driven business applications written in Java
Experience with GIT
Experience using SPLUNK
Must be comfortable working a Linux based environments
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Good communications and documentation skills
OLTP database (Oracle, and MongoDB) database experience a plus
Domain knowledge of the TUSCAN portfolio of capabilities is a plus
Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting (sh, bash, perl, and other scripting tools/language)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
