Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse employees located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Candidate will provide support for the modernization of legacy systems to meet functional, feature and performance requirements as specified by Information Assurance Operations. Capabilities must meet specified Information Technology security requirements and guidelines. Candidate will support prototyping efforts in an agile development environment and provide guidance and expertise to more junior team members. Activities will include software design, development and testing based on requirements or agile stories. Additional tasking may include establishing a development and testing environment and researching new tools and applications.
Experience with Agile development processes (SCRUM)
Experience with variety of software architectures (e.g., client/service, SOA, etc.)
Evaluation of software packages (trade studies)
Solid experience across software development life cycle
Experience leading/mentoring developers/programmers
Experience with cryptographic key management, key generation algorithms, PKI certificates, and certificate authorities
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
