Desktop Support Specialist - Berlin, PA - FULL TIME- 6+ month contract minimum, could go perm- Pay: BOE
Primary on-site technical resource responsible for resolving support issues that are escalated from the corporate Help Desk.
Document all requests in ticketing system (Footprints)
Maintain all computer hardware and keep in good working condition. Repair and replace laptops/desktops as needed as well as periodic refreshes of out of date systems. Conduct preventive maintenance as specified.
Active Directory administration
Coordinate vendor support as necessary to facilitate repairs, maintenance, etc. on the IT infrastructure.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5+ years experience with PCs, laptops, networks, servers, telecom
Experience in a manufacturing environment a huge plus
Proficient in Microsoft Operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10), Office 2010+, Exchange, VOIP
FootPrints, LAN Desk, Kronos and AS/400 BPCS experience would be a plus.
Ability to work occasional after-hours and weekends
