Responsibilities of the Desktop Support Technician:
- Provide Level III desktop support for end users across the organization
- Regularly report problems and provide recommendations for improvements to management
- Adhere to documented processes for help desk and configuration procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, mobile device, and printing issues as they occur
- Assist with IT related projects and help with inventory management
Requirements of the Desktop Support Technician:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in Desktop Support, or equivalent skills equating to Level III technical knowledge
- Knowledge of computer hardware
- Proficiency in Office 2003-2010, O365
- Proficiency in various Adobe products
- Proficiency in IE, Cisco VPN, WebEx, Jabber, MS Outlook, and MS Exchange
- Proficiency in Windows 7/10, iOS, SCCM, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Exceptional communication skills
