|We are looking for an energetic Director of Solutions Marketing to join Ellucian’s growing marketing team. This role will help drive the marketing strategy, positioning and messaging for IT and business audiences within higher education institutions. Reporting directly to the VP of Solutions Marketing, this person will work with counterparts across sales, product management, field marketing, professional services and business development to market solutions, develop a sales pipeline and provide sales enablement material to support global sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a background with B2B enterprise software platforms and/or analytics solutions, and/or in the educational technology/higher education space. Additionally, experience with partner marketing is a significant plus.
Specific responsibilities include:
•Defining the messaging, positioning and associated go-to-market strategy related to Ellucian and partner solutions, and working with other parts of the organization to ensure they are executed. This includes content that establishes Ellucian as a thought leader, and drives leads and sales for the solutions globally.
•Identifying the set of solution-related assets needed to support the product and portfolio strategy, e.g., website copy, case studies, infographics, videos, product demos, presentations, white papers, data sheets, etc.
•Creation of marketing materials and solution messaging to be used across all channels.
•Identifying external channels for proliferation of solution messaging like channel partners, websites, professional events, social channels and groups, etc.
•Partnering closely with the sales and inside sales teams to develop compelling sales enablement tools and to support the sales strategy.
