As a Dock Supervisor you will be responsible for planning, directing and controlling all available resources to ensure timely, damage-free loading/unloading of freight on the outbound or inbound shift.
Supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in loading and unloading trucks and in moving and storing materials or products
Training new employees in job duties
Ensuring all work is performed according to company approved procedures, standards and specifications
Providing a clean, safe environment for all personnel and visiting customers
1+ year of transportation and/or supervisory experience
LTL dock operations experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of AS400 system
Knowledge of MS Office
