The Superior Group is seeking 1st and 2nd shift Electricians for a global, high-tech manufacturing company located in Sanborn, NY. The primary responsibility of the role is to assemble electrical panels for a wide variety of large scale industrial systems using assembly tools, fixturing, and measurement equipment. Successful assembly will require strict adherence to work instructions based on worksheets, drawings, part lists, and other written documentation. Work performed must be of consistent high quality and incumbents must work well in a cooperative work environment.
Position duties include, but are not limited to the following:Soldering and crimping operations on complex electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies and electronic control assemblies. Will be soldering wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies to meet government/customer inspection and specification requirements.Perform assembly of various circuit boards and control panels, which may include multiple types of electrical components, standoffs, jumper wires and wire harnesses, final assemblies and solder or crimp complex assemblies/connections.Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, fixtures and various cleaning procedures. This may require using microscopes, mirrors, high-resolution equipment and torque wrenches.

Required Skills and QualificationsAssociate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or a related discipline.Minimum Two (2) years of electronic or electrical assembly experience using drawings and diagrams.Minimum 1 year experience cable-harnessing, crimping and panel-layout experience
Preferred Skills and QualificationsPossess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Works well in a team setting and can effectively multi-task on simultaneous projects. Must also be able to work independently and stay task-oriented.Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment with fixed project deadlines.
