This position is
responsible for supporting Loan Origination System users by managing help desk
tickets. As tickets are submitted this role would own the resolution of the
request, until it can be solved or handed off to another team member. The
Encompass User Support Specialist will acknowledge the issue, figure out a
priority and if the Encompass User Support Specialist is unable to answer the question,
work with other resources in the department to work the ticket until
resolution. It is expected that this
position will respond with an acknowledge response to incoming help requests
within minutes of the submission between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. The Encompass Help Desk will know and
understand basic Encompass functionality as well as learn the mortgage
Assist users with
questions or problems with the Encompass LOS.
Document solutions to these problems, for internal and public use
Communicate with users who have issues the status of their request
Work with the Mortgage Solutions Center and Operations to inform users
about common issues and how to avoid them
Assist with testing Encompass
system upgrades and customizations
Provide on call support
on a rotating basis in the evenings & weekends, as needed
Perform related duties
Facilitate and support
change within the Bell Bank system
Job Skills Required:
2 to 4 years of Mortgage industry experience and understanding business
Encompass experience preferred
Microsoft client-based products (e.g. Windows 10, Office 2016)
1 to 2 years of software administration experience a plus
Able to analyze problems and respond quickly in a demanding environment
Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary
