The selected candidate will manage research, development, and engineering of NGMS' autonomy capabilities.
Support the ES&T Enterprise Technologist for Autonomy and Cognition in executing the Autonomy Technology Roadmap:
o Lead further definition and refinement of the technology roadmap.
o Architect autonomous systems applications for distributed ISR and other mission use cases.
o Support the software engineering process (including identification, architecting, developing, testing) for the Autonomy Engine and related components in accordance with the technology roadmap.
o Help write and submit invention disclosures.
o Manage and lead related NG IRAD efforts in autonomy and cognition.
o Collaborate with other Enterprise Technology activities, in particular, data analytics to integrate edge analytics.
o Support external collaboration, including with universities and strategic partners.
Support the ES&T Data Analytics & Cognitive Autonomy OU in generating and executing Autonomy research business:
o Contribute to technical development of CRAD proposals in cognitive autonomy to government S&T agencies, such as AFRL, ARL, DARPA, HSARPA, IARPA, NRL, ONR, and OSD.
o Support execution of related CRAD projects
BS Degree in a STEM discipline and nine (9) years of related experience or MS Degree in STEM discipline and seven (7) years of related experience
Experience in data analytics and autonomy
Ability to communicate effectively with customers
US Citizenship required
MS Degree in Mathematics
