Pioneer Technical Services, Inc. is currently recruiting a Field\Laboratory Technician for its Materials Testing Laboratory located in Butte, MT. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, committed individual that works without frequent direction. This position will consist of providing Field Quality Control Services and materials testing in the laboratory. The Technician will work under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Manager or Project Engineer. Project experience in general construction, field density testing, concrete testing, soil sampling, and materials testing is preferred but not required. This position is temporary and will end on or before December 31, 2018. Position 18-3.

Candidates will be subject to outside environmental conditions, including hazards found at field/ construction sites. Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently. Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel and twist, use hands to grasp and arms to reach, to raise hands above head and to sit, climb and balance.
