Evoqua Water Technologies is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join the team in Houston, Texas.
This position will be based in and work out of the Houston Branch office, and will deliver quality service meeting time, budget and customer expectations.
Drive flatbed truck with vacuum trailer to customer sites and vacuum carbon from boxes and vessels.
Participate in branch inventory audits/restocking at direction of others
Work through multiple priorities and coordinate activities with customers through internal Evoqua support structure.
Comply with time and attendance policies and procedures.
Ensure all Technician training is kept current and complete all required paperwork daily with minimal direction
Adhere to EH&S policies, and promote our safety culture on a daily basis amongst peers
Make suggestions and recommendations on Service performance issues and/or Customer Service issues
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Class B CDL or higher required
Knowledge of DOT regulations required
Current Safety certifications including 40 hr. Hazwoper Certification and Basic plus Certification preferred
Current TWIC card or ability to obtain one required
Ability to take and pass coursework for site specific training at various safety councils or customer sites including safety training.
Ability to pass background checks and drug testing including hair follicle testing and be part of a randomly tested program.
Prior experience operating a forklift preferred
Must be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis
Must follow all safety rules and wear all required safety equipment
Must be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently with minimum supervision; demonstrate excellent judgement in customer relations and managing company resources
Must be willing and able to work some weekends, holidays, and after hours as required
