This position reports to the Director of Government Accounting. Responsibilities include conducting supplier cost and price data reviews and analyses to establish the reasonableness of the cost and pricing.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Provides cost estimating and TINA proposals.
Conducts audits and analysis of subcontractor or supplier proposals.
Conducts fact finding at supplier locations as needed to review basis of estimates and source documentation verifying proposal cost estimates.
Participates in cost and pricing reviews with management, customer, and supplier representatives as required.
Participates in the preparation and submission of Forward Pricing Rate Agreements (FPRP) and the annual incurred cost submission (ICE) to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (FAR, CAS).
Serves as point of contact with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) auditors.
Prepares and coordinates responses to DCAA audits and System Reviews.
8-10 years experience understanding pricing and purchasing theories, concepts and principles; and experience demonstrating a broad application of these concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in cost/price analysis supporting Department of Defense programs, and interface with government auditing agencies (DCAA/DCMA).
Must have solid understanding of Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR Part 15) and Cost Accounting Standards, including FAR Part 31.
The ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret complex data and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems;
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings
