Administrator of Home Health Agency is accountable for the overall management and performance of the Home Health agency at the site: responsible for effective and efficient use of all resources in carrying out the company’s goals and mission; managing, directing, overall financial performance and budget; and ensuring that the agencies employ qualified personnel and assuring the development of personnel qualifications and policies. Ability to generate new client and perform during Federal and State Surveys.

Ability to generate new client and perform during Federal and State Surveys.
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs ongoing clinical operations to ensure provision of adequate and appropriate care and services. Supervises clients and home health aide personnel directly. Available on weekends if necessary to ensure admission to the agency and re certifications are completed within required timeframes. Recruits, employs and retains qualified personnel to maintain adequate staff. Orients staff to the agency policy and program, to services provided by other community agencies and organizations and to various third-party payer requirements. Supervises clinical practice to ensure a high quality of health care service and maintenance of agency standards at all times. Directs staff in performance of their duties including admission, discharge and provision of service to clients. Provides staff development through in-service educational programs, selected progressively responsible work assignments, individual guidance, performance evaluation, and other methods. Ensures compliance with regulations. Implements, integrates and maintains companies policies and procedures .
Experience: Requires five years’ experience in home health service administration as an individual contributor with 1-3 years supervisory capacity in a home health or other related health program with demonstrated, progressive leadership and management abilities.
Must have good communication, comprehension, computer and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English. Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health administration or related field required if not a RN or other clinical designation
