The HR Project Specialist provides support and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the human resources departments and assists the team as needed with various programs and activities covering multiple HR areas
•Act as primary point of contact for all employees entering the Human Resources department, greeting employees with a positive attitude and helpful demeanor and supporting our open door policy.
•Resolve employee issues appropriately and professionally and refer employees to other members of HR when necessary.
•Assists with event planning for programs as needed including Town Hall and other employee engagement events.
•Advise leaders and employees on organizational policies and employment laws and serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering agreements, and helping resolve work-related problems. Stay up to date on new regulations and compliance matters.
•Anticipate information needs, identify gaps and organize data and reporting communications cohesively and clearly. In partnership with compensation manager, create and distribute monthly and quarterly dashboard reports and generate ad-hoc reports as needed for the organization.
•Position may play a role in HRIS related activities Responsible for ensuring the integrity of employee data and that business processes are accurate, timely and efficient.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required and 2+ years of experience in an office environment, human resources experience preferred.
•Strict adherence to confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
•Proven knowledge of Federal, state and local legal considerations and best practices related to Human Resource administration.
•Strong proficiency in Excel as well as Word and Power Point is required. Experience using ADP preferred.
•Ability to work independently, make decisions, and demonstrate sound judgment.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to details are required for this position.
