Growing firm looking to add resources to an existing department of Level 1- Helpdesk associates. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge with Windows operating systems and troubleshooting.

This position requires the ideal individual to have excellent soft skills- speaking with a wide range of personalities from various ages will be required.
We stress that the ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of helpdesk experience.
The Helpdesk Associate is responsible for providing maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. The position is also responsible for administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems reported by end users.
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through to IT helpdesk portal
Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software
Setup onboarding of new users & off-boarding- including office 365 (exchange)
Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
Maintain PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
Travel to remote offices when required to troubleshoot issue(s) [NJ/NYC]
Knowledge, Skills and Experience with assembly/imaging of hardware/software- Windows O.S and patch management a plus
Preferred 3- 5 years relevant experience
