In the role of Industrial Engineer you will plan and deliver industrialization projects, develop and implement the facility layout, equipment installation, capacity planning for a high rate production facility.

As an Industrial Engineer you will plan and deliver industrialization projects, ensuring limited impact on production. You will be responsible for the facility layout, implementation of new equipment and tooling and staffing capacity planning for the GKN Lipskins manufacturing facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
--Ownership of equipment, tooling, and staffing capacity planning for the lipskins facility.
--Ownership of facility layout and design to support required production rates.
--Design production cells to support required production rates.
--Completion of time studies as validation of capacity planning assumptions.
--Planning and coordination of industrialization projects to ensure limited impact to production.
--Loading and maintaining IE data in the Boeing scores system.
--Coordinate installation of new equipment and handover to production.
--Facilitates risk assessments for new equipment.
--Work with value stream manager and continuous improvement coordinator to streamline product flow through the value stream.
--A bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, similar technical field.
--5+ years experience in industrial engineering, preferably in an aerospace environment.
--Experience in Facility Layout design and simulation.
--Relentless and results driven performer with a Continuous Improvement mind-set.
--A dynamic individual with a high level of energy, a proactive self-starter who is confident and able to work independently.
--Superior interpersonal skills, delivers information clearly and factually. Capable of adjusting to situation or audience.
--Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers, associates, departments, outside vendors, and other teams.
--Managing projects and assignments: Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
--Operating a personal computer with proficiency in related technical and specialized software.
--Good reporting and communication skills on project status and progress.
--Capable of interfacing professionally with customers and suppliers.
