Responsible for the sales and growth of the direct to church market in assigned territory, while ensuring the highest level of customer commitment through acquisition, retention and expansion.
Daily, heavy outbound calls to potential new direct accounts and existing customers, working approximately 10,000 non-customers for conversion to David C Cook customers.
Daily high email volume correspondence with customer base.
Achieve Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Sales and Outbound Dials Goals.
Establishes relationships with church decision makers and point of contacts.
Follows up with customer needs to maintain their loyalty.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
Experience: 2 -3 years inbound and outbound telephone sales and call center experience required. Successful candidate would have 2-3 years of account management experience, with a strong knowledge and ability to work in a customer relationship management software system (CRM). Ability to dial, at minimum, 55 outbound dials per day and has a proven track record of successful with closing sales and growing existing business. Should have experience and a history of accountability to both sales and productivity goals. Knowledge of church ministry is a plus, but not required.

Equipment Knowledge: Microsoft Office experience required. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are required. Effective negotiating and strong customer service skills necessary. Experience in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Must have superior communication skills and possess the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, as well as organization and attention to detail.
