Responsibilities for the Inspector
•Inspect, measure, and/or test materials and product to established methods and procedures.
•Utilize various inspection tools, such as, scales, micrometers, dial calipers, peel test unit, oscilloscopes, xtrateks, PD1200 and M series equipment.
•Examine and file device history records for compliance to FDA/QSR standards and ensure receipt and storage of retained samples
•Perform various mechanical and electrical inspection techniques.
•Read and interpret documentation such as procedures, drawings, and ECN's. Coordinate the activities of the quality department in a manner which enhances a quality product flow
Requirements for the Inspector
•High School diploma; two years technical training preferred. Three-to-five years of experience in Inspection/Quality.
•Must be able to read plans, schematics and prints.
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
•Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in different situations.
