The Sales Business Development team develops New Business opportunities with global prospects. Our prospects include Investment Banks, Private Equity/Venture Capital firms, Wealth Management firms, traditional Money Managers, Hedge Funds and Corporations. The goal of this role to set up qualified meetings and provide meaningful background information for members of the outside sales teams to conduct demonstrations, trials, and eventually close business. You will also be managing inbound leads for FactSet globally and qualifying New Business prospects for global outbound calling.
- Possess a "Hunter" mentality
Financial market experience involved in the investment process
2+ years of experience in an inside sales role
Highly disciplined and organized
Have high energy, and a positive attitude
Prior work experience in the Financial Markets (i.e., analyst or portfolio manager)
CFA designation or MBA
Experience using FactSet or one of its competitors
