Creole Cuisine is a local, family owned and operated restaurant group with multiple locations, both upscale and casual themed in the Greater New Orleans Area.
We are currently seeking Kitchen Manager and Sous Chef Professionals interested in the opportunity to live and work in the New Orleans Market.
We are looking for only the best Kitchen Managers and Sous Chefs in the area with casual or upscale background. This person must be a team player, have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Focus on quality, safety, and cleanliness practices in the kitchen are paramount.
Kitchen Manager requirements Include, but not limited to:
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including holidays
- Kitchen Managers will have 2+ years experience in a full service, fast paced environment
- Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing cooks and other BOH staff
- Experience maintaining high levels of food quality, hygiene, and consistency
- Participates in menu planning and utilization of food surpluses and leftovers
- Proven financial savvy through controlling prime costs and effective forecasting
- Computer Skills
- Successful career track and stable consistent work history
Sous Chef requirements Include, but not limited to:
- 2 years of proven experience in an upscale/fine dining establishment
- Must also private party dining experience
- A degree from a Culinary Program is preferred.
