CNS helps people with brain injury find hope, independence and a meaningful life - and you can play a key role in that journey as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for duties including following Plan of Care for long-term and short-term goals as they are established by the Licensed Physical Therapist. The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant working under the supervision of the Licensed Physical Therapist, assists in program development, program implementation and utilizing techniques and modalities necessary to provide competent physical therapy services to individuals with acquired brain injury and other neurologic diagnoses at all levels of function. Work is full time during weekdays. Work is performed at the clinic with some work occasionally at the residential site or in the community.
A high degree of accuracy in documentation and observation, adaptability to a variety of situations, strong organizational and communication skills, decision making and an ability to evaluate situations as they occur is needed for this position.
SPECIAL SKILLS UTILIZED, EDUCATION LEVEL, TRAINING
~ Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program required.
~ Current licensure required or license-eligible in state employed.
~ Membership in APTA is desirable.
