You will be building out new configurations for Network, storage and virtualization solutions within a Linux environment.
Support Unix environment and virtualization solutions, along with storage running on diversified hardware
Troubleshoot network routing, boot issues, and performance issues across the stack
Work with new and alternate Linux distros and open-source tech (CentOS, OpenStack, CoreOS)
Maintain operational documentation
10 years experience with Linux kernels, driver level performance, hardware architecture (NIC, HBA, CPU, memory, OS), network configuration, storage services, and VCS clustering
5+ years' experience working with infrastructure application solutions (in Python/Perl), including APIs from public cloud providers
Experience porting software between systems, compiling open source projects and adapting software for different environments
5+ years' experience with virtualization (using esxi, network and SAN storage)
5+ years' hands-on experience with research, evaluation and implementation of next generation, open-source, and cloud based technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
