Marketing & Communications Manager | Job Description
The position of Marketing & Communications Manager is an essential role in shaping and expressing the Partners Worldwide brand visually, verbally, and experientially to internal and external audiences. This role includes development, collaboration and implementation of marketing strategies to new audiences as well as ongoing constituent communications activities. The Marketing & Communications Manager will work collaboratively with the Director of Marketing and other team members, staff, and contractors on various initiatives and programs while also interacting with multiple internal stakeholders and external resources.
Job Tasks / Responsibilities
Shape the experience of targeted audiences interacting with the Partners Worldwide brand
Project lead designated marketing & communications activities and projects
Oversee website development, enhancements and troubleshooting
Collaborate on marketing & communications strategy and planning
Collaborate on fundraising strategies and implementation with staff and contractors
Teach and instruct staff on branding standards and usage, monitoring and safeguarding the brand expressions as utilized by staff and the network
Supervision of interns, contractors and vendors, always championing and conveying the high standards expected. This includes internal and external print production
Manage Partners Worldwide social media accounts, strategy, campaigns, and posting to each (FB, IG, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Collaborate/co-manage regional marketing strategies & implementation
Manage branding and publishing of PW Training Curriculum in various editions and languages
Design & Copywriting management of contractors and resources
Manage all aspects of video, motion-oriented media for storytelling, social media, fundraising

Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field with 4+ years field experience
Adobe Suite: Familiar with basic functions in InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop
Familiar with mass email, automated marketing systems and CRM functionality
Familiar with WordPress for website management and updates
Familiar with mail merge methods for fundraising letters and direct mail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of digital storage solutions such as Dropbox, SharePoint
In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
Excellent project management skills to manage multiple activities at once
Familiar with nonprofit fundraising practices and how marketing integrates to fundraising
Experience with design and writing management of contractors
A solid understanding of cross-cultural relationships
