Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium

Math Instructor / Tutor:

A math-only learning center in the Glendale area has an opening for a math instructor to work with students in 1st-12th grade. Curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student, and instructor will apply the teaching methods presented during training. Instructor will also help students with their homework and test preparation.

• Sunday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
• Monday 2:00 - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday 2:00 - 7:00 PM
• Wednesday 2:00 - 7:00 PM
• Thursday 2:00 - 7:00 PM
• Friday CLOSED
• Saturday CLOSED

Instructor must be available to work a minimum of 2 weekdays, preferably 3-4 weekdays, Monday-Thursday with a starting time between 2:00pm-3:15pm. Shifts end between 5:30pm-7:00pm. Required Qualifications:

-Exceptional math skills through Algebra I

-Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills

-Ability to professionally interact with students and parents

-Energetic and confident personality

-Should have basic knowledge of high level math, including Geometry, Algebra 2, Trig, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus; knowledge of these subjects is helpful. The more you know, the better.
