The Wafer Inspection Division (WIN) is the world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced optical inspection tools for inline monitoring of process defects in advanced semiconductor factories.
The candidate will join a team to design high performance X,Y,Z stages for high vacuum or atmospheric and wafer chucks for our wafer inspection tools. The candidate will collaborate with system engineers and team members to define the requirements of a new sub system to be designed or a problem to solve. He will need to perform solid modeling design, analysis,make drawings and assemble first prototype. He will also have to prepare and present concepts and detail design reviews followed by writing and executing prototype test plans. Once the prototype is passing all specifications he will prepare the documentation required to transfer the design to manufacturing.
The job requires proficiency in solid modeling preferred Pro E or Solidworks, mechanism design, FEA and thermal analysis . It also requires knowledge of using measurement tools like accelerometers and laser interferometer to measure vibrations. Knowledge of precision motion control design, mechatronics, servo control, e-Chuck design. Process data in Matlab or Labview as well as write Python scripts .The job requires some knowledge of servo controls, PID tunning and vibrations analysis PID tuning .
The candidate should possess good communication skills and be able to present his work and interact with other engineering groups.
The candidate should posses ownership and leadership skills and mentor junior engineers.
The candidate should have experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience
- Master's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience
- Doctorate (Academic) with at least 2 years of experience.
