Our client is looking for an experienced SaaS sales leader to help build out the Chicago sales team.
Our client is an international scale start-up. Their sales enablement software platform helps bridge the gap between sales and marketing teams which ultimately helps them engage with audiences, advance conversations, and drive revenue.
With over 1000 logos and fantastic customer retention rates, their a truly a leader within the space. Recognized as such, they have been able to partner with some of the largest tech companies in the world (apple, salesforce, etc).
Within this role you will be responsible for all sales activities for the Mid-Market team (exciting, right?!). You will be tasked with driving net new business for their sales enablement platform and growing the Mid-market team to exceed sales targets.
Recruit, mentor, and direct a team of Account Executives to uncover new business opportunities
Actively participate in the sales cycle to bring sales leadership and strategic support
Accelerate the ramp time of new hires by providing sales, industry, software, and process training
Plan and deliver sales strategies to meet and exceed sales projections
Oversee leads and pipeline management
Work collaboratively with the Go-To-Market Team to execute sales strategy as we introduce enhancements to existing solutions and/or release new products
4+ years directly managing a diverse team with varying sales abilities
Experience guiding sales teams via sales methodology and best practices
Mastery of consultative sales techniques with complex sales cycles
Track record of year-over-year team quota attainment
Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and C-level contacts
Prior experience selling Saas solutions to sales and marketing verticals is required
